Nurse Practitioner Student Application for Summer Preceptors Now Open
The Office of Clinical Education's application period for nurse practitioner students is now open through February 1st, 2019 for those seeking hours with a clinical preceptor between May 1st and July 31st, 2019.
To submit an application, visit https://iuhealthcpe.org/OCE and create an account as an Advanced Provider student.
Notification of acceptance will be by March 15, 2019. Students should no longer reach out to potential IU Health preceptors through cold-calling and impersonal approaches. Preceptors will select students from applicant entries.

REMINDER: Code Status Changes Effective January 8, 2019
Effective January 8, 2019, IU Health with eliminate the use of a "Limited Code" status. In alignment with Indiana's POST form IU Health will use one, streamlined, four-tiered code status order to provide better communication to code team/rapid response teams regarding the patients/family wishes for CPR and life support. Click here for a brief presentation regarding the new changes.
